Our Principals
We tailor every project team based on each principal’s area of technical expertise and related experience. It is our policy to have a Principal involved with each project from commencement to completion. A Senior Design Engineer is also assigned as the Project Engineer, and both the Principal and project engineer follow the project from conception to completion, to provide our clients with continuity and quality service during all phases of the project.
About Us
Consulting structural engineers EST. 1992
Weiler Smith Bowers (WSB) Consulting Structural Engineers was founded in 1992 and has provided a wide variety of services to Building Owners, Architects, Federal Agencies, Local Governments and Contractors while maintaining a high level of quality customer service. While we continue to grow our client base, most of our work comes from existing relationships with our clients. WSB has a wide range of experience that includes residential, light industrial, retail, commercial, and institutional building structures.
More than Just Structure
OUR firm’s success is due to our strong work ethic, exceptionally talented and qualified staff, and our ability to provide client responsiveness, cutting-edge technical excellence, economical, innovative, and practical structural engineering solutions.
We understand that any given project is more than just a structure. The structural components must integrate with the building as a whole and function efficiently for the user. Construction cost, life cycle cost, constructability, and flexibility for the users are all things that should be taken into consideration when choosing a structural system. Our aim is to provide an economical structure that complements the architect’s design and meets the requirements of the client and end users.
We Know Our Trade
At WSB, we are committed to BIM (Building Information Modeling) and are able to provide design services using Autodesk Revit Structure as well as AutoCAD. We strive to constantly improve the service we deliver to our clients by using Revit Structure to streamline the design process, as well as the coordination between disciplines and contractors, to deliver better coordinated construction documents to our clients.
